Job summary

Movado Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for the Fashion Outlets of Chicago in Rosemont, IL. The role supports the Store Manager in sales, training, and operations, with the ability to act in the Manager's absence.

Strong selling skills and 3+ years in retail management are required. The position emphasizes customer service, staff coaching, and operational excellence, including CRM, inventory, and loss prevention, with an hourly rate starting at $19.50 plus commission on sales.

Qualifications

• Strong selling skills and at least 3 years of retail management experience.
• Experience in watch, jewelry, fashion, accessories, cosmetics, specialty and/or luxury retail strongly preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Must have intermediate computer skills, including MS Office (Word/ Excel).

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed personal sales goals as established by the Store Manager and develop knowledge of the merchandise.
• Open and close store.
• Achieve financial objectives for the store.
• Coach and train store personnel to help them achieve personal sales goals.
• Recruit, hire, train, and coach store employees to ensure peak performance.
• Ensure CRM data capture, inventory, revenue, merchandising and loss prevention programs are implemented.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure staff do the same.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and professional working environment.
• Monitor and maintain merchandise, ticketing and displays.
• Service watches including sizing and battery changes as needed.
