Job summary

Acima is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Pasadena to support the Store Manager with account management, sales activities, and high-quality customer service. You will process credit turns, promote Acima’s leasing benefits, and drive conversions across partner stores and web orders.

The role involves coordinating with retail partners, supervising daily operations, and ensuring a positive team environment while meeting performance goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
• Familiarity with rental or leasing industry practices is a plus.
• Organized, with time-management skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Consistent in-person attendance.

Responsibilities

• Drive customer growth through web channels, partner stores, and walk-ins.
• Identify, listen to, and fulfill customer needs promptly.
• Educate customers on Lease-To-Own terms, payments, and process.
• Close sales by converting in-store and web orders.
• Collaborate with Acima partner stores in operations.
• Report to Store Manager on store activities and performance.
• Establish partnerships with retail personnel to generate referrals.
• Address customer issues to maintain satisfaction and service quality.
• Foster a positive work environment to reduce turnover.
