Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. seeks an Assistant Store Manager to foster an inclusive, high-energy environment in our USA TJ Maxx store network. You’ll empower your team to deliver memorable customer experiences while driving store performance in a fast-paced, evolving setting.

You will recruit and develop Associates, manage operations, and lead initiatives to meet sales and service targets, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and associate growth across the store.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead, develop, and empower a large team.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in store operations, loss prevention, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by supporting sales results, managing expenses, and overseeing merchandising, backroom, frontline, cash office, customer service, markdowns, scheduling, shipping, and receiving.
• Recruit, train, and mentor Associates to create a positive and engaging environment for employees and customers.
• Communicate and implement action plans for projects, targets, and store changes; contribute to succession planning.
• Implement strategies to meet sales, expense, and customer service targets and improve store layout and efficiency.
