You will work closely with the Store Manager and Department Heads, focusing on people development, safety, and achieving sales targets, with a clear path to Store Manager as you grow with the company.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years leading a team in a fast-paced food-related or retail environment.
• Effective communicator with enthusiasm for customer service.
• Passion for local and natural foods industry.
• Goal to grow into the Store Manager position.
• Lead with service to foster a positive, productive team.
• Understand pacing and adjust to volume and shifts.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills; detail oriented.
• Diligent about workplace safety and proper food handling.

Responsibilities

• Create and foster an exceptional store experience for customers and team members.
• Lead daily store operations, staffing, incidents, facilities, and category management.
• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales and labor goals.
• Collaborate with Store Manager and Department Heads on merchandising, ordering, and quality control guidelines.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop team members with Human Resources.
• Hold Store Manager/Department Head responsibilities during vacations or transitions.
• Provide leadership that inspires teamwork, energy, and results.
• Maintain a safe work environment for all staff.
