Job summary

Petro Serve USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in West Fargo, ND to work closely with the Store Manager, guide daily store operations, and deliver outstanding customer experiences. This hands-on leadership role blends customer service, employee coaching, merchandising, inventory control, and adherence to company standards.

You’ll set the tone for the team by leading by example and supporting staff during busy shifts.

Qualifications

• Retail or supervisory experience preferred.
• Leadership experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service.
• Able to lead by example and work with a team.
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with daily store operations and performance.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, schedule, coach, and develop store employees.
• Provide leadership and direction to employees and help maintain accountability for performance.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented environment for employees and customers.
• Provide prompt, friendly, and courteous service to all customers.
• Assist with merchandising, inventory, ordering, receiving, and product rotation.
• Maintain high standards for store cleanliness, appearance, and organization.
• Help ensure company policies, procedures, safety standards, and operational expectations are followed.
• Assist with implementing promotions and other company initiatives.
• Handle customer and employee concerns appropriately and involve the Store Manager when necessary.
• Take responsibility for store operations when the Store Manager is unavailable.
• Perform other duties as needed to support successful store operations.
