Citi Trends is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager and drive sales while ensuring operational excellence. You will help hire, onboard, and develop store associates, and lead teams to deliver strong customer service and adherence to policies.

The role emphasizes daily operations, inventory control, and staff coaching in a fast-paced retail environment. Flexible scheduling is expected, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3-5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals, customer experience standards, and operational expectations.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and development of store associates.
• Supervise and support staff in sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer service.
• Maintain a safe, organized store environment and enforce policies.
