Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and conduct frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support payroll, scheduling, cash handling and loss prevention activities.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a safe, friendly environment for customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, restrooms stocked, and trash removed.
• Other duties as assigned.
