Job summary

KwikFill is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to share responsibility for store operations and drive sales with the Store Manager, District Manager, and Retail Training Department. You will help train associates, ensure policy compliance, and manage daily activities while maintaining excellent customer service.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, stocking, and operating POS systems. A high school diploma or GED is required, and prior convenience store experience is helpful but not essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior convenience store experience is helpful but not required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Dependable, independent transportation that does not rely on a third party.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities of employees to improve sales performance.
• Assist in training and motivation of all store personnel.
• Offer appropriate customer service to shoppers.
• Greet all customers with a smile and hello.
• Suggest merchandise purchases to customers.
• Learn and operate the cash register and required equipment with accuracy.
• Stock merchandise and maintain shelves, coolers, and backrooms.
• Maintain store across health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Handle transactions accurately and report discrepancies to management.
• Work at least two nights per week and three weekends per month.
