Job summary

Janie and Jack is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the General Manager in daily store operations and drive sales with exceptional customer focus. You will lead a team, execute merchandising strategies and manage store performance to achieve goals.

You’ll bring 2–4 years of retail leadership experience, a proven ability to grow sales, and a passion for the brand. This role requires availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of retail sales experience with management experience.
• Proven ability to meet/exceed sales and profit targets.
• Experience training and elevating team product knowledge and selling skills.
• Experience implementing merchandising strategies and changing visual sets.
• Able to bend, lift and move merchandise up to 40 pounds; 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Support General Manager in day-to-day store operations to meet KPIs.
• Develop action plans with General Manager to achieve objectives, deliverables and timelines.
• Lead by example to drive sales and build customer relationships.
• Create and implement visual merchandising to increase sales and optimize floor space.
• Lead omni-channel selling to meet hourly, daily and weekly goals.
• Foster a positive, inclusive team environment aligned with the brand.
• Assist with recruiting and planning to meet future business needs.
• Identify training needs and implement plans to improve staff performance.
• Other duties as assigned.
