J.Crew Group (JCG) is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team in the United States. You’ll drive profitability through genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and strong community engagement while coaching the sales team to maximize performance.

You’ll collaborate with the leadership team to adapt strategies, supervise operations, recruit and develop staff, and ensure best-in-class service.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of retail management experience with similar scope.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Director & Associate Store Manager to drive profitability and brand connection.
• Own division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems and technology with accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training and development as needed.
• Collaborate to create a collaborative working environment for all associates.
• Ensure the team exceeds goals and provides best-in-class service.
• Lead sessions to boost product knowledge for authentic customer connection.
• Engage community and build loyalty through events.
