Hibbett, Inc. is hiring an Assistant Manager in Levelland, TX to support the Store Manager with daily operations and administrative duties. You will be knowledgeable in each product area, uphold policies, and promote merchandise with outstanding customer service.

As assistant, you’ll assume store responsibility in the Manager’s absence, help with staffing, training, and performance evaluation, and ensure profitability through effective inventory and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with goals and profits.
• Self-starter, has initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with precision.
• Team-player, passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett I City Gear.
• Consult with Store Manager to establish action plan for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assumes responsibility of the entire store in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers in all departments when necessary.
• Produce and give extraordinary customer service highlighted in the customer service manual, including helping customers as they enter the store, and helping multiple customers during peak periods.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise provided by Hibbett I City Gear.
• Protect the company’s assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management of potential fraud risk.
