altaexternalcareersite is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Glenwood Springs, CO. This full-time role supports the Store Manager in all store operations and ensures a safe, customer-focused environment.

You will perform Store Manager duties in their absence and help customers with purchases while fostering positive relationships. Qualified candidates have 2-4 years of supervisory experience in retail, can lift 20 lbs, and are able to work weekends, holidays, and irregular shifts.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience as a Supervisor or Team Lead in a retail store.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must provide proof of authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
• Strong capability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Be physically able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 20 lbs.
• Be able to work irregular shifts, including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Work indoors with occasional outdoor periods.
• Stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours.
• Occasionally lift/carry up to 20 pounds up to 30 minutes.
• Occasionally climb a ladder to store materials or signage.

Responsibilities

• The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in all store operations and acts in their absence.
• You will assist customers in the purchase of products and develop customer connections.
• Maintain a positive attitude with all customers and staff at all times.
• Ensure a safe and customer-focused environment in the store.
