Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Texas to assist with store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help organize merchandise, train associates, and ensure a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

The role includes opening/closing duties, payroll/scheduling responsibilities, and loss prevention support, with a focus on maintaining store standards and promotional displays. Part-time position in a retail/grocery environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and frequent walking/standing.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Team-oriented with problem solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain fixtures and promotional displays.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean and stocked sales floor and stockroom.
• Protect and secure store assets including cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines.
• Support Store Manager in training and development of Store Associates.
• Maintain a safe, positive environment for customers and staff.
• Clean and restock bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
