Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and handle standing, walking, sweeping, and other physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and overall store conditions to company standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, payroll and scheduling duties, and loss prevention.
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment and professional interactions with customers and staff.
