Job summary

Family Dollar seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Orange, TX to help run store operations, deliver quality customer service, and develop the team. You will assist with daily functions, merchandising, scheduling, and loss prevention to maintain store standards.

The role requires strong communication, reliable leadership, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. A high school diploma is preferred, with prior retail or grocery management experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions and concerns.
• Organize and stock merchandise from delivery to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process directives and maintain store displays.
• Maintain store areas to company standards.
• Protect assets including cash.
• Train and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Keep store clean and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned.
