Job summary

Family Dollar in Chimayo, NM is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, organize merchandise, and help train and supervise store associates while maintaining a safe, friendly shopping environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Retail store management experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Able to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
Process corporate directives and maintain store records and loss prevention.
