Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our Chesapeake, VA location to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help lead daily activities and ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities include assisting with merchandising, opening/closing procedures, staff training, loss prevention, and maintaining a clean, organized store that meets company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail/grocery/drug store preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries.
• Help organize merchandise and maintain seasonal areas.
• Support opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
• Train and develop store associates; uphold safety and cleanliness.
