Heyday in Bethesda, MD is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager, lead a 25+ person team, and drive profitability while delivering exceptional Heyday experiences to clients.

You will maintain an organized, drama-free workplace, empower staff with tools and information, and collaborate with Marketing on client growth and retention initiatives. A strong hospitality background is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing P&L and achieving financial targets across multiple locations.
• Basic understanding of employment law, policies, processes, and programs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed.
• Background in hospitality and client service.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager to lead the team and drive shop profitability.
• Teach and deliver best-in-class service to employees and clients.
• Maintain an organized, informed, and drama-free workplace.
• Empower the team with tools and information for a great Heyday experience.
• Manage day-to-day tasks and operations; build relationships with staff and clients.
• Drive revenue through scheduling optimization and shop utilization.
• Support development of business plans to reach forecasts and goals.
• Partner with Marketing on client acquisition and retention plans.
• Help manage the shop's P&L to increase revenue and control expenses.
