Job description

Assistant Store Manager (ASM) is responsible for assisting the general manager with the management of day-to-day store operations, while adhering to Global Partner's policies and procedures.

  • Complete daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
  • Supervise, develop, train, and discipline hourly employees, ensuring operational standards.
  • Monitor shift cash handling and inventory, assist in investigations of shortages/overages and inventory variations.
  • Maintain business records and review accountability sheets.
  • Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative duties following cash control policies.
  • Manage cash procedures including deposits and change orders.
  • Maintain store standards, cleanliness, and safety, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
  • Coordinate gasoline levels and deliveries.
  • Engage in promotional initiatives and promote guest service.
  • Perform duties as per company policies and any other tasks assigned by the General Manager.
