Job summary

Medley Johns Creek in the Atlanta metro area is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations on-site and supervise team members while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will open and close the store, drive sales with product knowledge of Burdlife’s permanent jewelry and collections, and support styling sessions and piercings. Manage inventory, merchandising, and loss prevention with coaching for the staff.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused with a track record of creating positive in-store experiences.
• Strong communication with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Store management experience including supervising staff and daily operations.
• Knowledge of retail loss prevention to minimize shrink and protect inventory.
• Prior retail or specialty boutique experience in jewelry, fashion, or accessories is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Organized, with time management and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; business/retail management education is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members and ensure excellent customer service.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store.
• Drive sales with product knowledge on Burdlife’s jewelry and collections, including styling sessions and piercings.
• Support in-store services such as styling sessions and piercings.
• Monitor inventory and assist with merchandising.
• Uphold retail loss prevention practices to safeguard assets.
• Coach staff and ensure adherence to store policies and standards.
