Job summary

Dollar Tree in Acton, MA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, support customer service, and develop the team. You will assist with merchandising, payroll, scheduling, and staff training while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or similar is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Support customers with a positive, friendly approach and address questions.
• Help merchandise transfer from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling duties.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Ensure store assets, safety, and policies are followed.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing associates.
