The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) is responsible for assisting the general manager with the management of day-to-day store operations, while adhering to Global Partner's policies and procedures.

- Complete daily accounting paperwork and transmit it by the deadline.
- Supervise, develop, train, and discipline hourly employees, ensuring operational standards are upheld.
- Monitor shift cash handling and inventory, assist in investigations of shortages or overages up to $100/month, and inventory variations of 0.5% of sales or less.
- Maintain business records, review cashier accountability sheets, and recordkeeping as directed by management.
- Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative duties following cash control policies.
- Manage cash procedures, including deposits and change orders.
- Maintain store standards, cleanliness, and sanitation.
- Ensure store security and safety, complying with all safety and environmental guidelines, and report issues promptly.
- Coordinate gasoline levels and deliveries.
- Engage in promotional initiatives and promote high guest service standards.
- Perform other duties as required by company policies and directives from management.

Qualifications
- Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- 1-2 years supervisory experience.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong communication, reading, writing, and basic computer skills.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work in various temperatures and perform physical activities, including lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Access to all store areas including the sales floor, stockroom, and register.
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
