You will assist with daily functions, coach associates, manage merchandise flow, and ensure health and safety guidelines are followed. Prior retail leadership and strong communication are valued; lifting up to 55 lbs and standing for long periods are requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures, displays, and overall storefront appearance.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll and scheduling records, and cash handling.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to store policies, safety guidelines, and procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop store associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of bathrooms and floors; trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
