Job summary

Marshalls, part of The TJX Companies, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Madison, AL. You will lead a large team, drive sales, manage expenses, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced off-price retail environment.

You will recruit and train Associates, implement action plans, and support loss prevention and operational programs to optimize store performance and shrink reduction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of retail leadership experience as an Assistant or Store Manager.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and empower a large team.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to influence and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by supporting sales results, managing expenses, and overseeing key operations including merchandising, backroom, frontline, cash office, customer service, markdowns, scheduling, shipping, and receiving.
• Attract, recruit, and cultivate top talent by providing comprehensive training and ongoing development for Associates.
• Communicate and implement action plans for projects, targets, company initiatives, and store changes.
• Implement strategies to meet sales, expense, and customer service targets; coordinate loss prevention and operational programs.
