Aéropostale is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in leading a team and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will drive sales through product knowledge, engaging customers, and effective store operations.

You will also coach team members, oversee merchandising, and step in for management during shifts. The role requires a proven sales track record, flexibility for evenings/weekends, and the ability to travel between stores if needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a Co/Assistant Manager in apparel or similar volume environment.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales and performance metrics.
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
• May require occasional travel to other store locations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Manager to create action plans and drive results.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and selling skills to maximize sales.
• Engage with customers to build relationships and brand loyalty.
• Develop and coach team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Oversee merchandising and store operations to meet standards.
• Support management during shifts and handle POS transactions when needed.
