Job summary

StorageMart in Des Moines, IA seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, drive sales, and deliver service to customers. You will open/close the office, manage accounts, and perform light maintenance to keep facilities clean and secure.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, basic computer skills, and willingness to travel between stores. Competitive pay is $15.50 per hour with growth opportunities within the organization.

Qualifications

• Retail sales and administrative experience is a plus (training provided).
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities to effectively address customer needs.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Operations with the Store Manager to drive growth and maximize sales.
• Deliver exceptional customer service via in-person, phone, and email.
• Maintain the facility: open, operate, and close the office; light maintenance and cleaning.
• Manage customer accounts and administrative tasks, including debt management.
• Travel between locations to support other stores.
