Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, service, and store operations. You’ll help lead team members, ensure excellent customer service, and oversee store performance in the absence of the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise retail showroom customer service levels and staff performance during peak hours.
• Assist in hiring, interviews, and employee development to ensure qualified team members.
• Ensure all store transactions, returns, exchanges, and invoicing are processed accurately.
• Maintain store appearance, signage, and security procedures during opening/closing duties.
