Job summary

Jacksons Food Stores in Redmond, WA is seeking an Assistant Manager to support store operations and work closely with the Store Manager. You will lead teams, ensure high standards of customer service, and help drive sales in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Open availability to meet needs of a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Previous leadership experience supervising team members in a food service or retail environment.
• At least 3 months of customer service experience.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, can-do attitude.
• A valid Driver License and reliable transportation preferred.
• Must be of legal age to sell alcohol and tobacco and able to work around slot machines (NV only).
• Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and collaboration to get the job done.
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service while greeting and thanking customers.
• Assist in training, mentoring, supervising, and providing leadership to employees.
• Follow, interpret, and enforce company policy and procedures with the team.
• Suggest purchases to customers and promote store specials.
• Ensure proper sanitation and food handling, prep, storage and disposal procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of store and pumps, restock shelves, displays and coolers as needed.
• Clean fast-food area, equipment, and stock as needed.
• Operate register and make deposits as per policy.
• Respond to emergencies when Store Manager is unavailable.
• Other duties as assigned.
