Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of related management experience.
• Associate Degree preferred or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, and proportions.
• Maintains Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 30–70 team members in the store.
• Direct, develop and manage store staff to protect assets and maximize profits.
• Ensure sanitation, merchandising, payroll and records compliance.
• Achieve productivity and payroll goals in each department.
• Maintain store conditions per company standards and safety rules.
• Coordinate with vendors and Wakefern staff; recruit and develop employees.
