Qualifications

• Assistant Store Manager is responsible for store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Must supervise associates and coordinate activities across departments.
• Involved in purchasing, budgeting, accounting and personnel work as needed.
• Must abide by city, county, state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers and handling inquiries professionally.
• Monitor sales activities to ensure customer satisfaction and product quality.
• Assign employees to specific duties and supervise daily operations.
• Direct and supervise employees in sales, inventory, and cashiering tasks.
• Plan and prepare work schedules; maintain records of time cards and attendance.
• Assist store manager with recruiting, hiring, and training staff.
