Buff City Soap creates handmade, nourishing products free of harsh ingredients, made fresh daily with recognizable ingredients. We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to maintain a positive, energetic environment and drive store performance.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing daily operations of the Makery in a fast-paced setting
• Leading by example to ensure a client-centric experience and meet sales goals
• Maintaining a clean, professional environment
• Setting goals and coaching team members
• Managing inventory and supplies
• Assisting with sales reports and store expenses
• Working nights and weekends, approximately 40-45 hours per week

Qualifications:

• College preferred but not required
• Management or sales experience preferred
• Effective communication skills
• Leadership and motivational skills

Physical requirements:

• Long periods of standing and walking
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to perform cleaning tasks in the Makery
