Calling all Key Holders and Leads! Grow your career with us! Our Yelm, WA store is seeking a Full Time Assistant Store Manager!

Hourly Rate: $19.71 per hour

Position Summary:

Assistant Store Managers have direct supervision of all retail supervisors, and hourly staff who have access to the vault and/or registers. They are responsible for total store supervision on a day-to-day basis to meet the needs of the store and its customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performs all opening and closing procedures and responsibilities
  • Ensures store audits are maintained at or above an acceptable level
  • Maintains LP Audits at an acceptable level
  • Leads the semi-annual inventory
  • Monitors all safe procedures and cash handling policies
  • Oversees supply management and ordering processes, monitoring expenses to stay within budget
  • Ensures payroll expenses are within budgeted parameters
  • Delegates work appropriately among employees
  • Maintains up-to-date wage requests and payroll timekeeping
  • Handles employee reimbursements, petty cash, and travel expenses
  • Ensures building and functions are properly maintained; submits maintenance requests
  • Ensures security and safety systems are operational, including locks, alarms, bank deposits, refunds, vouchers, and incident reports
Full Cycle Hiring
  • Participates actively in interviewing and onboarding new retail employees following Goodwill's recruitment guidelines
Loss Prevention
  • Acts as the security "captain" for the store, working with management and Loss Prevention to protect assets from theft
Customer Service
  • Delivers exceptional customer service to a variety of customers
