General Position Summary
Generate Sales
  1. Produce sales gains by providing customer service.
  2. Meet or exceed Company Objectives in all individual statistics.

  4. Adhere to visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
  5. Maintain a professional appearance consistent with Company Dress Code Policy.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Control Expenses
  1. Protect Company assets within guidelines of LIDS Retail policies.
  2. Assist in preparing store work schedules that ensure proper coverage and wage control.
  3. Manage store inventory accurately, including receiving, transferring, pricing, and conducting counts.
  4. Complete timely and accurate product counts.
  5. Maintain proper documentation and record keeping per policies and legal requirements.
  6. Open and close the store following procedures.
Additional Duties
Supervise Associates
  1. Act as Store Manager on duty in their absence for scheduling issues and customer complaints.
  2. Manage store staff through training, goal setting, and follow-up.
  3. Administer disciplinary actions when necessary.
  4. Handle scheduling and staffing, including calling in associates during peaks.
  5. Participate in training programs and adhere to set goals.
  6. Assist in recruiting and training staff.
  7. Ensure compliance with policies, safeguarding inventory and funds.
  8. Perform subordinate work as needed.
  9. Communicate effectively at all levels.
  10. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to produce sales results and minimize loss.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and relevant software.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work with hands overhead.
  • Standing for up to 100% of work time.
  • Ability to work independently.
