Responsibilities

1. Produce sales gains by providing excellent customer service.
2. Meet or exceed Company Objectives in all individual statistics.
3. Provide consistent, documented appraisals of sales performance and give constructive feedback to associates, aligning with Company Objectives.
4. Adhere to visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
5. Maintain a professional appearance according to the Company Dress Code Policy.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Control Expenses

1. Protect company assets within retail policies.
2. Assist in preparing store work schedules ensuring proper coverage and wage control.
3. Manage store inventory accurately, including receiving, transferring, pricing, and counts.
4. Perform timely and accurate product counts and record keeping as per policies and laws.
5. Follow procedures for opening and closing the store as outlined in the Operations Manual.

Supervise Associates

1. Act as Store Manager on duty when necessary, handling scheduling, customer complaints, etc.
2. Manage store staff through training, goal setting, and follow-up, including disciplinary actions when needed.
3. Participate in recruiting, training, and ensuring compliance with policies.
4. Perform subordinate duties as required and communicate effectively at all levels.

Job Requirements & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent plus at least one year of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to generate sales while minimizing loss.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with computers and relevant software.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
