Job summary

DTLR, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily retail operations in Virginia.

You will drive sales through merchandising execution, manage expenses and inventory, and develop the store team to deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include supervising staff, recruiting and training, handling performance feedback, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 1 year in retail management.
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and train store staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality and performance of store staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Model leadership to achieve store goals and training standards.
• Assist with recruitment, selection and training of store personnel.
• Assist with annual performance evaluations for all store employees.
• Help manage expenses and develop strategies to meet budget.
• Monitor shrink and loss to keep it below company targets.
• Ensure safety and business standards across operations.
• Support training in selling and merchandising techniques.
• Uphold customer service standards for a positive shopping experience.
• Assist in regular merchandise inventory counts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• 40-hour work week with a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
