Circle K in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking an Assistant Manager to help supervise daily store operations, hire and train staff, manage bookkeeping and merchandising, and ensure fast, friendly service with reliable on-site attendance.

You’ll lead a team, recruit and interview, delegate tasks, teach and motivate others, plan and organize, handle cash, and maintain safety and security while supporting a strong food program.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred.
• Supervisor or management experience is preferred.
• Experience handling food is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with oversight of station/store operations.
• Help with hiring, supervising and working with staff to complete daily tasks.
• Maintain high standards and provide fast, friendly customer service.
• Ensure regular and predicable on-site attendance.
