Job summary

J.Jill, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store leadership and drive a profitable retail operation. You will lead by example, coach team members, and ensure an outstanding customer experience while upholding merchandising and operational standards.

You will analyze sales trends, set goals, and execute strategies to meet targets, while maintaining strong product knowledge for personalized styling and effective customer service. Weekend/evening shifts are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Women’s Specialty Retail experience preferred, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to support and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build lasting relationships.
• Experience in analyzing business trends and executing action plans.
• Passion for fashion, styling, and merchandising.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage ambiguity with confidence.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Act as a role model, develop and maintain strong customer relationships and support community engagement.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing a high-performing team and lead by example.
• Help drive store performance by analyzing sales trends and setting goals.
