Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery or drug store preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties (standing, walking, bending).
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and store cleanliness; ensure stockroom and floor are organized.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling and cash deposits.
• Protect store assets and ensure all policies and safety guidelines are followed.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
