Job summary

Tractor Supply is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and deliver Legendary Customer Experience in our store. You will support the Store Manager with opening/closing routines, coaching Team Members, and ensuring compliance and safety across all store activities.

The role requires retail leadership experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license; a Business Administration degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous retail leadership experience is required.
• Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred. Read, write, and count accurately regardless of education level.

Responsibilities

• Be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented to support store leadership and execution.
• Lead daily store operations, sales, service, opening/closing routines, and safety compliance.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Experience and coach team members for consistent standards.
• Support recruiting, training, and development, plus inventory, merchandising, and loss prevention.
