Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development.

You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise, and help train and supervise Store Associates while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers. This is a part-time role with opportunities to contribute to sales and loss-prevention initiatives in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, ability to interpret operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
