Job summary

Confidential seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a customer-first retail team. You will supervise staff, manage merchandising, complete paperwork, and help process deposits to maximize profitability while protecting company assets.

You will open/close the store at least two days weekly, help schedule and train employees, run safety meetings, and ensure policy compliance, inventory accuracy, and visual planograms.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Cash handling and basic math proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership and operate the cash register.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling, training, safety meetings and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise: receiving, stocking, restocking, and displays.
• Maintain accurate inventory and control damages and losses.
• Implement and maintain planograms and product presentation.
• Ensure financial integrity: cashier accountability, deposits, and refunds.
• Assist in store management in the Store Manager's absence.
