Job summary

Pacsun in Mishawaka, IN is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead a customer-focused, top-line sales driven, profitable store location. The Assistant Store Manager must also inspire and motivate others by exhibiting core value behaviors—ensuring the execution of the Store's KPIs.

A day in this role includes coaching Sales Associates, maintaining store standards, and delivering an authentic customer experience while supporting operational tasks and policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Effective written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Strong communications skills.
• Proficient in math and possesses strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Displays a customer-focused mindset at all times and ensures team delivers engaging experiences.
• Handles customer situations per policy and escalates as needed.
• Keeps store clean, safe and organized to maximize customer experience.
• Provides feedback from customers to leadership to improve service.
• Performs floor supervisor duties during non-peak periods.
• Coaches and provides feedback on Sales Associate performance.
• Supports associate engagement by recognizing outstanding performance.
• Delivers direction to associates to ensure understanding of company directives.
• Prioritizes and delegates tasks to meet operational needs.
• Maintains adherence to visual directives and brand standards.
• Drives efficiency in store processes and merchandise flow.
• Ensures store safety policies are followed.
