Job summary

FirstCash in Austin, TX is seeking an Assistant Store Manager with at least six months of management or 3rd key experience to drive daily store operations and customer service excellence. You will partner with the Store Manager to lead, recruit, and coach staff, manage customer relations, and help achieve financial goals while maintaining asset protection and compliance.

This role offers hourly pay with a commission bonus based on store performance, plus the comprehensive FirstCash benefits

Qualifications

• Minimum Age: 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues.
• Recruit top talent and develop store staff.
• Open and close the store, counting cash drawers and merchandise and ensuring procedures protect assets.
• Manage assets through inventory control and loan processes.
• Drive profitability by analyzing financial statements and setting goals.
• Act as manager on duty in the Store Manager's absence.
• Keep product knowledge up to date and communicate store mission.
