Job summary

GPM Investments, Pride-branded store in Ludlow, MA, seeks an Assistant Manager to support daily operations and supervise staff across day, swing, and overnight shifts.

You will handle registers, staffing, inventory, merchandising, and cash handling while maintaining a clean, customer-focused store. Open availability and reliable transportation are required for this full-time role.

Qualifications

• Open Availability to work weekends, holidays, and second/third shifts.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance for deposits.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning, stocking and outside area maintenance.
• Must be 18+ years old and able to communicate in English with basic math.
• Willingness to learn and grow into leadership roles.
• Food Safety Certification must be held or pursued.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep stock updated.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store environment including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules to ensure full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits; oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team to excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum Age Requirement: 18 + years old
