Job summary

Piedmont Lube Centers LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering fast, friendly service and overseeing day-to-day operations at our Metro Atlanta location. This role emphasizes leadership, safety, and high standards in a busy retail automotive environment.

The Assistant Manager will supervise staff, handle customer concerns, manage inventory, and assist with opening/closing duties while upholding company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of leadership experience in retail, service, or automotive
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lead a team and solve operational challenges
• Comfortable working in shop environments and outdoor conditions
• Basic computer and cash handling skills
• Weekend availability required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in leading daily store operations and achieving business goals.
• Lead by example and promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Help monitor daily performance and support the team in meeting company standards.
• Lead the store in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Ensure every customer receives fast, friendly, and professional service.
• Help resolve customer concerns and support a positive customer experience.
• Help maintain store cleanliness, equipment, and overall presentation.
• Ensure company policies, safety procedures, and operating standards are followed.
• Coordinate daily workflow to support safe and efficient operations.
• Assist with opening and closing the store as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with placing supply orders.
• Assist with cash handling, daily paperwork, and end-of-day procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance services and support the team as business needs require.
