Job summary

The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) supports the General Manager in daily store operations at Global Partners LP, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and brand standards.

In Auburn, NH, you will supervise hourly staff, oversee cash handling and inventory, maintain cleanliness and safety, and drive guest service and promotional initiatives across shifts. Flexibility and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends and holidays.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Able to communicate, count, read, and write accurately.
• Able to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures outdoors and in coolers.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and move around store areas.

• High school diploma or equivalent vocational/technical education.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt employees, holding them accountable for operating standards.
• Monitors shift cash handling and inventory; assist investigations of shortages/overages up to $100 monthly and inventory variations.
• Maintains business records, reviews cashier accountability sheets and records as directed by management.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative duties per cash control policies.
• Manage cash procedures including bank deposits and change orders.
• Maintain Grand Opening Ready Standards per store image guidelines.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure store is secure and safe; report issues per safety guidelines.
• Coordinate gasoline deliveries and monitor fuel levels.
• Engage in all company promotional initiatives and guest service excellence.
• Perform duties as required by company policies and the General/Territory Manager.

TheAssistant Store Manager(ASM) is responsible for assisting the general manager with the management of day-to-day operations of the store, while adhering to Global Partner's policies and procedures.

Your Role, Your Impact

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt (hourly) employees, holding them accountable for upholding operational standards.
• Monitors shift cash handling and inventory. Assists in investigations of shortages/overages of $100 per month or less as well as inventory variations of .5% of sales or less.
• Maintains business records, review cashier accountability sheets and records prescribed by the General Manager and or Territory Manager.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and/or other administrative dutiesas requested, adhering to all Global Partner's cash control policies.
• Manage cash management procedures including bank deposits and change orders.
• MaintainGrand Opening Ready Standards –According to Global Partner's store image standards.
• Maintains highlevels of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensures store is secure and safe; complieswith all safety and environmental guidelines. Report any issues to proper authority as well as management.
• Ensure adequate gasoline levels as well as coordinate gasoline deliveries.
• Engage in allcompany promotional initiatives.
• Promotes a high level ofguestservice.
• Perform duties as required by company policies and procedures (encompasses CompanyHandbook)and any other duties assigned by your General Manager/ Territory Manager.

• Vocational or Technical Education High School Diploma or equivalent

Pay Range$19.42 - $22.63

The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
