Job summary

Majors Management is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations on site and drive superior guest experiences while meeting sales goals.

You will oversee, train, and develop a team, model high energy and strong communication, and ensure a process-oriented environment that aligns with company objectives and store performance targets. The role requires flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays when needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of retail experience in a similar environment.
• Must have a people-first mentality and excellent communication.
• Ability to plan, prioritize and work in a fast-paced setting with energy.

Responsibilities

• Manage day to day store operations, including building, training, and developing a team that will provide consistent superior guest experience.
• Foster a culture where the primary focus will always be on the guests’ needs.
• Serve as a role model to team members in and outside of stores by presenting a high energy, friendly attitude.
• Create an organized and process-oriented environment.
• Communicate company objectives so the store team understands how the strategy fits into day-to-day operations.
• Clearly set expectations with employees and track results.
• Focus on execution and creating a systems culture in the store.
• Discipline to optimize results by efficient expense spending and thorough planning.
• Assist with monitoring financials and sales to understand current business.
• Assist with forecasting and analysis of business trends and functions within payroll, loss prevention, and controllable expenses to maximize store performance.

• Good business acumen

• Ability to work a flexible schedule of days, nights,weekendsand holidays

• Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR

• Availability to be on call 24/7

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or GED is required

• A minimum of 1 yearof retail experience in similar working environment
