Job summary

The Salvation Army Miami ARC store is seeking a detail-oriented team member to assist in supervising store employees and day-to-day operations, ensuring policy compliance and the security of cashier funds. You will help maintain neat merchandise displays and stock levels while supporting customers in finding items and prices.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma or GED and retail experience; equivalent training or experience will be considered.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred and experience working in a retail store preferred or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising store employees and participates in the day-to-day operations of the store and warehouse ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Ensures the accountability and security of cashier funds.
• Maintains the neatness and attractiveness of store merchandise ensuring that displays remain well-stocked.
• Assists customer in locating items and prices and explains store policy.
• Assists employees in resolving routine problems and performing special assignments; assumes the responsibilities of the Store Manager when needed.
