Job summary

The Salvation Army in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Full-Time Regular Store Associate to supervise store staff and assist in daily operations of the store and warehouse. This role requires a proactive approach and a commitment to security and accuracy, while delivering excellent customer service.

You will ensure policy compliance, safeguard cashier funds, keep displays neat and stocked, help customers locate items and understand prices, and support employees with routine problems and special tasks,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Retail store experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store employees and participate in day-to-day operations of the store and warehouse.
• Ensure the accountability and security of cashier funds.
• Maintain neat, attractive store merchandise and ensure displays remain well-stocked.
• Assist customers in locating items and prices and explain store policy.
• Assist employees in resolving routine problems and performing special assignments.
• Assume Store Manager responsibilities when needed.
