Retail Assistant Store Manager

We are currently looking for the right Retail Assistant Store Manager to join our Team!

Compensation: $13.50 to $19.00 per hour with an easily achievable commission structure.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six (6+) months of management/3rd key experience. This position will partner with the Store Manager to lead and develop store employees, recruit and retain top talent, maximize financial goals, and manage Customer Relations/Customer Satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers.
3. Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
4. Open and close the store, ensuring all procedures are followed.
5. Ensure asset protection through inventory control and documentation.
6. Administer processes within the store, including inventory and loan management.
7. Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability.
8. Ensure operating standards meet or exceed FirstCash standards.
9. Monitor loan qualification and buying processes.
10. Complete assigned tasks for self-development.
11. Communicate clearly with employees regarding the store’s mission.
12. Remain up-to-date on product knowledge.
13. Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

1. Must be willing and able to perform physical duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
2. Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
3. Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
4. Minimum Age: 18 years old.
5. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
6. Ability to work a flexible retail schedule.
7. Computer literate and able to operate Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
8. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
9. Cash handling experience is required.
10. Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.

Commission Plan Information: The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Assistant Store Managers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on personal performance.
